// How we check

positivelyAI reports what AI measurably did for people. Every story has to pass these rules before it reaches your inbox.
no source, no story
Every story links its primary source and the number it stands on. If we can't show you where it came from, it isn't here.
projection != result
"Expects to save" is not "saved". A forecast stays a forecast. When a result is real, we say who measured it and how: a trial, a survey, a study of past records, or the company's own report.
people, not products
The story is the person or team who gained something. A product launch or a vendor's press release is never the story by itself.
same skepticism both ways
We correct doom with data, and we correct hype with data. Wednesday's Scoreboard reports the week's numbers whichever way they point.
name it or drop it
No "experts believe" and no "reports suggest". We name who said it and link to it, or the claim stays out.
corrections run first
Spot a number we got wrong? Reply to any issue. The correction runs at the top of the next one and goes in the corrections log.
// Who makes it

positivelyAI is published by EmbedIQ LLC, which builds AI workflows for businesses. We have a stake in good news about AI. That is why the rules above exist, and why they cut both ways.
Software does the first pass. It searches for candidate stories and drafts each summary from its source. A person picks the stories and approves every issue before it sends.
Once a month, Stringer, EmbedIQ's own AI agent, writes up its build, failures included. It is always labelled as ours.
